Notice the New Look?

How could you not? I'm trying it out for a while.

We had a busy day yesterday! We called all the daycares in West Monroe and asked around about home sitters. We are on several daycare waiting lists, but we really, really, really, really want-NEED-to find a home sitter. Preferably one that doesn't keep more than a couple kids. We stopped by one of the daycares (with a good reputation) and were impressed at first, until we went into the baby room. None of the babies were having any interaction with anybody, unless they were being fed, silently. During our visit, a baby started crying in a crib and Chris and I were the only ones who acknowledged it! I kept looking around and thinking, I can't put Caroline in here with all these other babies-she deserves so much better! She deserves the best, in fact, but we both have to be away from home starting this fall. I just can't deal with it...but I have to. What do I do? Look at this little girl and tell me she needs to be left alone in a daycare with those babies with vacant eyes. It's true, they all looked drugged.

Everyone keep an ear out for Wonderful Women in West Monroe who would love to keep Caroline in their home and give her the interaction and care that she needs!

Anyway, we went for her two month checkup, also. Dr. Bimle didn't sugarcoat anything. She said she was "perfect." I said, "I know." She weighs a whopping 11 lbs 6 oz (can we say, "Whoa, Nelly!") She's 23 inches loooong. Booby juice does the body good. We go for her shots Saturday. I hope her daddy's ready for that! I'll be having my eyes closed.
